Fall 2023 Updates

And so we return and begin again - mid Autumn. It has been over a year since I’ve written, and I’m excited to be reaching out with some important updates for Anima Mundi Healing Arts.

These include:

  • My practice is now open at a new location on 33 College Street, Montpelier. I will be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and have morning, afternoon and evening sessions available.

  • I am offering a significant promotion of 50% off an initial Craniosacral Therapy Session for people who are interested in trying this work. A link to the promotion is here, and this offer is good through the end of November! (Book Here and enter the code Scorpionic23 at checkout)

Like so many in our community, my work and life plans were massively disrupted by the flooding in Montpelier. I am grateful to see the beginning of a vibrant return after catastrophic loss, and like so many, I share in the grief of the communities and businesses that have not returned. How we are with each other, as individuals, can ripple out in extraordinary ways - and I hope that the strength and compassion that has been on display here in the heart of Vermont can be part of that.

Healing Community on 33 College Street

This week, I begin working at my new office at 33 College Street. I am excited to announce that I will be sharing this space with another extraordinary Craniosacral Therapy practitioner - Devrah Hart (https://www.craniosacraltherapy.dev/)

Our office is part of a larger practice, including Noah Book with Vermont Physical Therapy (https://vtphysicaltherapy.com/noah-book/) as well as other Holistic Wellness practitioners.

I have always felt that people get the best results from healing and personal development when they work with an effective team. I’m happy to be working with practitioners whose approaches and experience I trust and that can help me more fully serve you and your healing needs. I will share more information on these practitioners and collaborations you can take advantage of in the future.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST): an Opportunity to Reset

I am also entering into this new phase of my practice after completing 18 months of extensive continuing education in Somatic Coaching, Craniosacral Therapy, and Structural Bodywork. I’ve been enjoying the way my work with people has evolved, and in the coming weeks I’ll be sharing information, promotions, and packages that reflect these new learnings and experiences I’ve had facilitating meaningful change. (More info about CST here)

In particular, I’ve been focusing this past year on some of the subtle and deep aspects of Craniosacral Therapy, and specifically how it can support nervous system regulation and a deepening sense of embodied well being. I’ve worked with several clients recently who realized at the beginning of their session how much tension and pain in their upper and lower back and spine simply would not let go through conventional methods - no amount of pushing, pulling, or trying to relax would help. Yet when we induced a Stillpoint in the Craniosacral System, and gave the nervous system an opportunity to reset and unwind, almost all the tension instantly dissipated.

This can seem dramatic, until we realize that this is something the body already knows how to do, effortlessly and spontaneously. While prolonged stress overrides the body’s natural ability to find balance, sometimes the solution can be the simple and gentle invitations that CST gives the body to regain equilibrium.

To increase accessibility to this healing modality and to encourage you to take this opportunity to reset, I’m offering a 50% discount off a 1 hour Craniosacral Therapy Session. (Book Here and enter the code Scorpionic23 at checkout)

If you’ve been curious about this extraordinary treatment modality, or have been interested in getting back into it, this is a great opportunity to experience it and discover how supportive and nourishing this body therapy can be.

I will be sharing more updates, reflections and promotions in the coming weeks. For the time being, I wish you all courage, strength, connection and support this fall - and look forward to working in community with you all
